Paraboot Bahamas Taurillon Marine Nubuck Chocolate

$320

This shoe is made with Blake stitching, also known as through-and-through stitching. It was in 1858 that shoemaker Leeman Reed Blake, a young employee of sewing-machine manufacturer Singer, invented this technique, which adds flexibility and lightness to the shoe.   Taurillon Leather: "Tanned for almost 100 years by the Etablissements Rémy Carriat in southwestern France, they are the guarantors of an ancestral know-how combining the human eye and hand with the chemistry of tanning. This meticulous process, handed down from generation to generation, results in a tumbled and nubuck leather, incomparably supple and strong with an exceptionally soft touch."   Traditional last with slightly rounded toe - Made in Europe - Blake stitching, no midsole - Natural rubber sole
