Introducing retaW

retaW was founded in 2009 by Hiroshi Fujiwara and Daisuke Murakami. The name—"water” spelled backwards—was inspired by their desire to create items that become a mainstay in your daily life, as normal as “drinking water.”

Many of you may be familiar with Fujiwara and his fragment design studio as one of the foremost pioneers & “godfathers” of Japanese street culture; his cofounder Daisuke Murakami is a physician. Their partnership focuses on utilizing organic ingredients to create blended fragrances that soothe the mind and harnessing knowledge of the latest developments in skincare medicine to bring out the natural vitality of your skin.

retaW is an expression of simplicity, thoughtful care, and relaxation, which is reflected in the design and function of each item. Starting from a simple body shampoo, the brand has grown to offer a full assortment of skincare and signature fragrance items.
